Convicted in a petty case under 186 and 323 IPC

Dear sir, I am a student and was convicted in a petty case under 70a, 70b, 186 and 323 IPC. I was beaten up by police constable and immediately lost my control as I was drunk and slapped him. Then the police took me to the police station and tested my alcohol percentage (40%). Constable filed case against me as if I were the first to beat him up and attached some medical reports. I was all alone and help less. I was pursuaded by police to attend court and pay fine. Thinking of only fine I went there but to my surprise I was sent to jail for 2 days along with 650 fine. Finally I realized that police were succeded in satisfying their ego and I was stupid enough to follow their false guidance. As a meritorious student I have full confidence in clearing government competitive exams. My doubt is "1. Will this case history create any problem during verification after I clear government competitive exam?....."2. Do I need to mention this case history before applying any exam/after clearing exam?...."3. How will the employer react if I mention/ do not mention the case history due to its severity?...."4. Police said it was a petty case and FIR not filed, but how to check whether my case is closed or not? Please answer all queries as I am very much tensed Thanks in advance.
