Interim Maintenance

Hi, I have a query regarding interim maintenance order. One of my friend' s wife filed a DVC 1 year back and he got the order from the court asking to pay 15,000/- per month, but in the order, it is not clear on the % of breakage between son and wife. His wife is currently working. Then, he filed a petition in district court stating that his wife is working(submitted evidence for this as well) and asking for % share. District court gave a stay for wife' s share. So far it is good. But now, in the lower court, judge asked to pay some amount to kid. But did not give an order. He/She said verbally and also mentioned that he will be sent to jail in case the amount is not paid. However, he/she did not give any order officially on paper. Then, again he appealed in district court stating that judge did not clearly mention how much amount to be paid. The district judge gave an order to pay 10,000/-. So, questions are below - 1. Is there any standard amount that is mentioned in the law for a 3yrs kid, because he thinks that it is very high amount for a 3yrs kid with his wife doing a job currently and also provided evidence for this? 2. How to bring stay to this order? Can he appeal in high court or in district court stating that his wife is working and also provided evidence for the same. In this case, is it really required to give interim maintenance, because his wife is working? 3. If the interim maintenance is NOT paid, will he be sent to jail? 4. What happens next if the interim maintenance is NOT paid? 5. Can he go to high court stating that 10,000/- is very high for a 3yrs kid and to reduce this amount? 6. First of all, without investigating the condition of the husband and without investigating whether the wife is working or not, can the court give this kind of order? What if the husband is not in a situation to pay even 100/- per month? Request you to please answer all of my queries. Really appreciate it! Thank you, Regards.
