Can civil and criminal suit be filed for recovery of a single loan?

Respected Sir/Madam, I took 10 lakhs personal loan with Kotak Bank in 2013 when i was working in a private firm and in 2015 the company closed down and i lost my job and i was also cheated by a person for 2 crores(case filed against him and he is in jail now). I have paid back the bank 8.5 lakhs in emi before i was not able to pay anymore. First they filed a arbitration case against me in the old address(they know my new address as they were collecting my bounced emi's in cash in that new ad) and got ex party order and moved to City Civil Court, Chennai and filed an EP and then only i came to know of this and stopped paying EMI's. But even when the case was on they collected 2 Emi(28726/emi) giving false promises but they moved ahead and misused my cheque which i gave during taking loan in 2013 and put it without my knowledge for 8.5 lakhs and got it bounced in Bangalore and filed a case against me in CMM,Bangalore though my residence, bank account and loan taking branch all are in chennai. Now they have got order for attachment of movable properties in EP case in City Civil Court, Chennai and also they are trying to recover the same amount in 138 NIACT. They are also sending people to my residence regularly asking for settlement which i said max i can go for 3 lakhs but they are not accepting anything less than 6 lakhs. Last month i got a major heart attack and also lost my voice halfway due to left vocal cord paralysis and hence was not able to present myself in Bangalore court yesterday though my advocate was present there they didn't call my case out but finally heard they have issued an NBW. Now adding salt to the wound i found online with my name search another 138 case is also filed against me by Kotak in the same CMM court, Bangalore. I don't know how can a bank act so grudgeful against a person who have paid 8.5 lakhs out of the 10 lakhs taken. How can i take it forward as they have already got attachment order in EP and now also moving with two 138 case against me. Looking forward for help Thanks N.Parthiban
