Desertion by husband for dowry

I got my daughter married in October, 2015 in Delhi. It was an inter-caste marriage arranged through the consent of both the parents. My daughter was living in a joint family where there were four members in the family, i.e., the elder brother & sister-in-law and her husband. Apparently it all seemed normal till April, 2017 till the elder brother in law demanded my daughter to draw a sum of Rs.40,000/- to buy one air-conditioner for his room and one battery inverter. My daughter refused to shell out Rs.40,000/- along and suggested that since everybody in the house was a working member therefore everybody should contribute Rs.10,000/- each to bring the gadgets home. The attitude of all the family members became hostile towards and she was torture by all means, viz., not allowing her to cook or given food to eat for months together. Finally under well planned connivance her husband shifted her to another rented accommodation. The house was taken on rent by singing a rent agreement between the landlord and my daughter's husband. In the moth of September, 2016, one fine morning my daughter husband abandoned here in the said rented accommodation and fled from the house alongwith all his personal belongings which he had packed the previous night when my daughter was fast asleep in another room. He went into hiding and all the mobile phones of two elder brothers in laws, the parents, all went switched off. Every since then no one from the family had every tried to contact her not responded to her frantic calls. Could you please advice future course of action
