RCR as first step for divorce

Hi, I am married to my wife for 2 years and we have a 1 year old son. My wife left for her parental home after beating me when I lifted my child. I scolded her with bad words and said God will punish such a woman after she punched me. She recorded the scolding audio and left my home. I had kept cameras in my home and recorded the video of my wife punching me as I suspected their criminal minded family were trying to trap me the previous month. As expected, they threatened me (I recorded the call) and when I said she punched me first and I also have the video proof of it, they did character assassination like I am jobless, drunkard, etc., which I recorded again. I have account statement to prove fixed salary credit every month and a blood and liver test can be taken by any doctor of their choice to prove I don't drink. I have recorded the last conversation with my father in law where he threatens me to leave my 65+ years old parents and live with mother inlaw or he will file cases against me. I consulted with a lawyer for divorce. He says we will file an RCR initially to avoid issues and then he will somehow get divorce for me. Someone please suggest me as I am confused if by filing RCR will the proof of physical and mental torture by wife on husband become useless? Are SMS, email, acceptable evidences by court?
