Validity of DE Degree For State Govt Jobs

I was taken admission in Sikkim Manipal University-Distance Education in 2011 & passed out my BSC-IT course / degree in 2014. While applying for State govt. jobs offering by various departments, on qualification section, one main point regarding the validity of the degree has always mentioned that "Graduation from a recognized University". I have read out that Honorable Sikkim High Court Judgement Order against Petition no. WP(C) No. 8 of 2015 stated that degrees will be ‘protected’ include those who had completed their course before 2011-12; others who had started their program prior to 2011-12 and those admitted for the programs any day after February 22, 2013, till June 26, 2015. The honorable Supreme Court of India rejected petition (SLA No. 26223/2015) of UGC against the judgement of Honorable High Court of Sikkim. The Supreme Court Bench of Justices AK Sikri and Justice Rohinton F Nariman dismissed the UGC petition, however the court on the petitioner’s request ordered that the present case cannot be treated as a precedent I have to get inquire about the status of my degree? Is that valid for state govt. jobs according to above point? If any govt. department reject to accept it, Should I put a case on court against it?
