Bank not returning the title deed documents after closing of loan

My father and mother availed a home loan to purchase our house in 2006 from SBI Bank and the title deed documents of that property was submitted to SBI as mortgage security. Further there was certain lapse in payment of the housing loan and SBI filed a case in DRT. In between SBI sold the rights of the loan to the private firm Arms (ARCIL). On June 28th, we closed the loan for an amount of Rs 32 lakhs, which was a one time settlement agreed with Arms (ARCIL). Accordingly we filed an SA in DRT and DRT ordered SBI and Arms (who were the respondents) to return to documents to its owners, that is, my father and mother. Further it came to know that SBI misplaced our title deed documents, which they notified us through a letter as response to one of our follow up letters in that regard. Recently they send us a recreated copy of our title deed documents and a cheque of Rs 5000/- as compensation which we responded and send back with acknowledgement stating that the settlement is not reasonable. Kindly advice how we can proceed legally in this regard and also about the maximum possible compensation we can claim from SBI or Arms (Arcil) The current estimated value of our property is approximately Rs 2 Crore and without the title deed we cannot sell at that price or find a suitable buyer.
