Public InterestQuestion on PrivacyAct. Applicable For Photography

We have requested few lab tests offered by a renowned web based laboratory. Yesterday there delivery personnel came to us with the report (which was already downloaded by me from their website) he took the picture of my wife with the report in her hands when she objected he told her that this is a regular practice to confirm the report delivery and also he showed her many photographs of the people holding their reports in their hands. Today I talked to the delivery personnel and he told me that he has instruction to this by the company in respect to confirm the delivery. Then I contacted to the customer care centre where on first call they told me to wait for an hour and upon their call back their senior supervisor did not paid attention on my grievance and disconnected the call saying that this is company's policy and I am making it a big issue. I again called their call centre and the representative forwarded my call to the senior where she told me that the delivery man has been fired and they don't have any policy to click any person's photograph, and after a bit argument she assured me that she will delete the picture of my wife personally, I agreed Just requested her to give me in writing that they will change their policy of taking pictures of people to confirm the report delivery. There are many companies who deliver reports at the doorstep of their clients, but in my lifetime I only saw this company clicking their client's photograph with the delivered object and upon objection they convince the receiver that this is mandatory to successfully complete the closing the reporting process. Now my question is, are they doing right thing? Does their act don't infringement the privacy laws of our country? May I have any provision to raise my concern in the interest of the public? If they publish the photographs for their publicity or it is misused by any means by someone, who will be considered as culprit, and also If they'd actually fired the delivery personnel, is it not injustice with that man?
