Case to file in consumer forum for the denial of Insurance claim.

Hi, I had a corporate insurance policy of National Insurance through Medi assist being the TPA. and it was to cover my parents who are 60+ in age. My mother was suffering from Degenerative Joint disease, where she was required to go for Knee replacement, while researching about the other treatment available i came to know, through one of my relative about "QMRT using cyclotron", which is actually a treatment for cartilage regeneration. A 21 days procedure. which if opted could have avoided or delayed surgery. As it was quite successful in case of my relative, and a cheap alternate to Knee replacement and over to that did not require any surgery,so we happily opted for that and later on upon completion of treatment i filed a claim to insurance company through my office Medi Assist desk. Which was after few days, declined, reason stating : "Naturopathy, unproven procedure/treatment, experimental or alternative medicine/treatment including acupuncture, acupressure, magneto-therapy etc" While discussing the Doctor who had treated my mother, he provided me few evidence of some cases , where court had ordered the Insurance company to compensate the claimed amount, there is not one, but multiple cases where similar order been given. Knee replacement is a expensive procedure and thus if would been opted for that, Insurer would have have to pay much more which on contrary is quite less in this alternate treatment. Now keeping those orders and these reasoning in my mind, thinking to go Consumer forum and file a case as i feel i can also get the claim amount if taken it further to consumer court. Before that i wanted to have a expert view on this matter , how tangible my chances are and would that be worth fighting for it in consumer forum. Your any input/advice will be highly appreciated
