Cheating

Sir, I wish to bring to your kind notice of a highly unfortunate event that happened in my life, because of which, my life has been totally ruined and turned upside down. My name is Al Ameen Mohammad from Kollam. It was at the time in 2011, while I was studying for the 8th semester at the Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, for B.E course in Aeronautical Engineering. It was during that time period, I came across an advertisement published by Nujum Aviation Private Limited, No. 415, 18th Main, 4 - T Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560041 which offered 100% placement to all the candidates, provided they enroll during that specific promotional time period, for a course leading to obtaining the Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL). The offer in the advertisement and the placement in particular exited me and with hope of getting employed as soon as finishing the course, I decided to join for the CPL course. On my enquiry with Nujum Aviation Private Limited, I was informed that they were a subsidiary firm of an Ahmedabad based Aviation Company, Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Limited, Village Rancharda, Via Thaltej, Shilaj, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - 382115 and that I need to pay my course fee in full to Nujum Aviation Private Limited, for obtaining my admission letter and before the course could commence. Accordingly I had complied with all the statutory requirements and started the course on April 2011. As part of the course I had to undergo training in flying for a total of 200 hours. By the 1st of June 2012, I had completed 33.34 hours of flying. At this point, I was informed that I can resume flying, only after I clear all the Five mandatory DGCA ground subjects named Air Navigation, Aircraft Technical, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulation and Cessna 172 (Specific). Thereafter I started to concentrate on my studies and because of my hard work I was able to clear all the DGCA ground subjects by May 2014. I now informed the matter to Nujum Aviation Pvt Ltd and also requested them to arrange for providing me with the remaining flying hours at the earliest. The staff at Nujum Aviation Private Limited and one Mr. Kunnappully Mohamed Gaffar in particular had informed me that they would let me know when I need to report to their office for availing the remaining hours of flying. Day, Months and Years passed by, but inspite of my constant follow-ups with them, no flying were provided to me as promised by them till date. I had on many occasions tried to personally meet and discuss the matter with Mr. Kunnappully Mohamed Gaffar, and the two organizations at Bangalore and Ahmedabad, but I was not even permitted to meet the concerned top officials at their respective offices. Now it is almost four years, after Mr. Kunnappully Mohamed Gaffar and his organizations have cheated me in full and because of which I’m left in a totally feeble condition both mentally and financially. As my parents are converted to Islam religion, they have spent all their life’s earning including our house on my education, in the hope that I would take care of them, but in the current situation my parents are now working in Kitchen for preparing food for the orphans in a mosque named Maalikkara Jumah Musjid, Aythil P.O., Kollam for a living. I feel that it is the end of everything for me since we don’t even have a shelter of our own as me and my parents had believed in the words of Mr. Kunnappully Mohamed Gaffar and we had sold out everything we had including our own shelter for gathering the fee amount. As a last resort I’m writing this letter in the hope that I will get justice from an act of cheating that was bestowed on me because of which my life has been ruined. Thanking you in anticipation. Regards, Al Ameen Mohammad
