Court case file destroyed completely, without any trace in 4 year

My uncle committed forgery in my late father's name in a number of cases. In one case, he withdrew money from my late grand father's PPF account in State Bank of India where my father was the nominee; forging my father's signatures. He deposited the amount into a Post Office account (fraudulently opened in my father's name for this purpose) and then withdrew all the money from there. When my father tried to withdraw the amount from the PPF account, he discovered this fraud. My father was suffering from cancer and was unable exert; therefore, he requested SBI to lodge a complaint with the police. Police registered the FIR in 2004 and investigated the matter. Police / State of Madhya Pradesh filed a criminal case against my uncle in 2007. The case was decided in 2012. The only status we see online is 'Dismissed as satisfied'. My father passed away last year due to blood cancer and that is when I came to know of the matter. I submitted an application to the court for a copy of the order and was told that the same is not available because the file has been destroyed. My husband visited the court and record room and faced the same fate. I also requested for this information from the Police Department Under RTI, but there is no response. What can I do?
