- Court maintains record of every order /decree passed by it .

- However, every citizen cannot take the annulment certificate from the court records , unless he is a party in the case, and even other lawyer who was not in the case can take certificate legally.

- Yes, annulment of marriage cannot be granted without a sufficient ground & reason.

You should have the case number or the date of order or sone relevant detail, so as to procure the order from the court. The order will not be given officially to any third party.

The annulment of marriage will be by pronouncing judgement by Court of law on the case filed before it.

Therefore the court judgement will be available in the court case bundle kept in the court records.

If a third party would desiring to obtain a copy of the court order, a third-party affidavit along with a vakalatnama can be given to an advocate who will apply for certified copies of the order.

Dear client,

Yes, the court maintains a record of annulled marriages. Once a marriage has been annulled, any person can request an annulment certificate from the court where the annulment was granted. The annulment certificate will state that the marriage has been annulled and will typically include the date the annulment was granted, the names of the parties to the annulled marriage, and any other relevant information.

The annulment letter may mention the reason for making the marriage void, but this depends on the specific circumstances of the case and the laws of the jurisdiction where the annulment was granted. In some cases, the reason for the annulment may be stated in the court order granting the annulment, while in other cases, the reason may not be disclosed.

Yes, normally courts preserve such records of decrees, judgments and other court orders for a period of 15 years at the district court record offices. If the order falls within this period, apply to the district court record officer through a lawyer and obtain a certified copy.
