You can apply for a separate khata on basis of your share
Dear Sir, I have purchased a plot in Bengaluru through a registered sale deed. The plot is BBMP A khata and I have purchased Approx 50% share of the plot directly from the plot owner. There is already an existing Khata, PID for the whole plot. Now please advise how to get a separate Khata and PID number for my share of the plot? As per my knowledge the remaining portion of the plot has been sold afterwards to another person. I have approached the owner but didn't get any help as of now.

Sir, Please confirm whether i should apply for a New Khata registration or Khata bifurcation? There is already a BBMP Khata and PID for the plot and I have purchased Approx 50% share of the plot. It is a layout and I have purchased it directly from the owner and there is no builder involved. I had applied once for khata transfer through sakala website but it got rejected and reason mentioned as 'apply for bifurcation'. Can you please guide me to get the khata and PID for my share of the property and also let me know the documents required? I currently have My sale deed, latest EC, Old Khata (for the whole plot), Khata Extract, latest tax paid receipt. Any other documents required?
