My elder brother purchased a land(after getting into job). Do i  have a potential claim for share in that land?

If it is your brother's self-acquired property there is no right for you to claim a share in the property. In case he does not have a family and is not married and if he dies without writing a WILL, then you will have right to claim over the property.
