My elder brother purchased a land(after getting into job). Do i have a potential claim for share in that land?

If it is your brother's self-acquired property there is no right for you to claim a share in the property. In case he does not have a family and is not married and if he dies without writing a WILL, then you will have right to claim over the property.
You will be entitled to claim a share in the land purchased by your brother only if he dies without making a will relating to this land.
1) you have no right on your brother self acquired property .
2) if your brother dies intestate and is not married you would be one of the legal heirs
