My elder brother purchased a land(after getting into job). Do i  have a potential claim for share in that land?

No, you do not have any right to claim in the property purchased by your brother from his own resources.

If it is your brother's self-acquired property there is no right for you to claim a share in the property. In case he does not have a family and is not married and if he dies without writing a WILL, then you will have right to claim over the property.
