Hi , My cousin sister was in a relation with a boy , that both shared some personal photos , all of a sudden boy starts saying that he dont want to continue and also said her to marry with the boy her family has selected , I am sorry there may be many things but as the girl is currently not in situation to tell all , all that she tell us that , that boy saved her pictures take screenshots , when she said her to delete that , firstly he was not agree , then when she send her proofs of chat where it was written he has taken screenshots ( instagram chat ) then he started fighting and said do whatever you want to do , she with his mother they clearly said his father will shoot you , and its not a big deal people now a days see lot of blue films and forgot all . After this they blocked the girl's contact number from everywhere , boy deleted his instagram profile , his phone is also switched off from then , boy's cousin's number is contactable but he is also notresponding. And my cousin is saying once boy has said in normal talks that he will make film of the picture , but later he turned this talk in a joke . After all this incidents , girl is in a lot of stress , having treatment from a psychiatrist , her concern is boy's only intention was to take pictures , he cheated her , and can use pictures in wrong way. She wants to file a police complaint but not doing cause she dont want this matter to come in front of her family. Is there any way to send her any notice or to do complaint so that she can handle her at own , without involement of family as after fir police comes at house address also , even after providing of phone number. Its a request to please advice as she cant share this with family . ?

2) transmitting of personal pictures is an offence under section 67 A of IT act
- If she not want to file a compliant before the police then either she can send a legal notice to him for giving proof and affidavit that he has deleted the photos' and will not misuse the same in future.
- If he refused to give affidavit then she can loge a complaint before the Cyber cell online after narrating the said facts .
