- You should approach the lawyer for getting the same .

- However, if you have applied for mutual divorce , then you can send a legal notice to the opposite party for filing a joint petition of second motion .

- Your query is not too clear to reply in details.

Hello,

  1. If your divorce is already decreed, you can get the copy from the same court. You can apply for the same in person or ask your lawyer to apply on your behalf. You will need to file the requisite fee.
  2. It is unlikely that the divorce was filed for in the High Court of Chennai, it would have been filed either on the Family Court or Senior Division Civil Court.

Dear sir,

As you have mentioned that the divorce is already granted, now you only have to receive the copy of judgement. In case you have the case details with you, you could access Madras High Court website and research for an online copy of that judgement.

However, it would be advised to seek help of your lawyer who, if unable to find online, can also visit the court and get the divorce copy for you. Thank you.

In view of the still prevailing Covid restrictions, you have to await the court order patiently.

You should contact your lawyer on this  becasue the high court complex is now closed again from 8th Mar 2021 due to corona  pandemic.

In the recent past the high court complex was opened for all litigants  of the lower court for a period of more than two to three months.

You failed to utilize the situation  hence you may have to either wait for the reopen of the high court complex or contact your lawyer on further issues.

No copy of any document from court can be obtained online. You have to make an application  for physically in the court and obtain the document. For further clarification you may contact me. Hit the like button if the advice is useful to you.
