Stamp papers verification
I need a procedure that how to verify these Stamp papers in Hyderabad or In Nasik. For submitting the verification documents in the Civil Court for the final trail my Property case. I have Three photocopy of the Stamp Papers Non-Judicial from Hyderabad Sir, my understanding is that, the logo of the Non-judicial Stamp Paper with the slogan 'Satyamev Jayate' below symbol of Ashok Chakra is started from 25.02.1977 but on the stamp paper date mention is 20.4.1974. So clearly, it’s a fake. In another Stamp papers is department is not providing any information and not available. I already applied through R.T.I request in Stamps and Registration -Hyderabad T.S. But they gave me replied that, we don’t have information for this.

The genuineness of a stamp paper can be seen through distinctive features.
features like Ashoka Pillar, four-headed lion emblem with the words “India Non- Judicial†in English and the words Satyameva Jayathe in Hindi. It also bears the water mark and security code parallel to the stamp paper. The water mark will be visible if transparent tracing paper is placed on the stamp paper.
It is the duty of the stamp vendor to affix his seal and licence number with the year of appointment and serial number, along with the name and place of the buyer.
If the documentary evidence you have submitted before the court has been disputed to its genuineness then you may apply for its verification properly through court directing the concerned registrar to verify the veracity of the stamp paper and submit a report to that effect.
Obtain a admitted genuine document executed on stamp paper prior 25.02.1977. You can establish that the question stamp paper does not have stated features or at least the document executed is back dated. Under both cases, the falsehood of document can be proved.
- You can approach the Collector of Stamps in the Revenue department for knowing the validity of the said stamp papers.
- Further, you can move an application before the said court ,where the civil case is pending for the verification of the Stamp papers on your mentioned grounds.

You may approach Senior Advocates or document writers and get to know as to whether such stamp paper is valid stamp paper as on the date of issuing such stamp paper. Normally, the date mentioned on the stamp paper and the execution of the said stamp paper must be one and the same at the most with a variation of few days. That, in this case the years mentioned as 1974 and 1977 as such the said Stamp paper may be treated as invalid paper.
