2) you should change your name in Aadhar card , PAN Card
I have already bought property in old name and have not changed my name in any document , because name change was only for visa purpose . What’s the solution now .
Change your name in PAN Card , Aadhar card on basis of gazette notification
you don’t need to change your name in educational documents as you had completed studies prior to name change
deed of rectification can be executed for property purchased by you after name change
You can update the name change in the PAN, adhaar card and on property also can make change applying in the SRO by reference e of gazette.
The purpose of changing the name itself is to use the same in future in all correspondences, what prevented you from using your new name?
Why do you complicate the simple things and create problem for yourself.
You can change your name in aadhar and PAN card but you cannot change your name in your educational certificates at this stage.
There is no particular purpose that you will change your name.
The change of name means that you will be known by new name from the date of the publication of the same in the gazette.
So you may have to undergo certain hardships while selling the proeprty which has your old name.
You need to file a declaration suit for changing your name in all the documents including the property documents. This might create problems in future so get the name changed in all records
You have to change your name in atleast all IDs. Otherwise you will problem while travel abroad.
No effect on ownerhsip of property by purchasing in old name.
- As per law, one cannot change name in the educational certificates after two years from the date of passing the same.
- Since, you have already got published in official gazette , then legally you can correct your name in all the documents after submitting the said notification .
- Further , as you have purchased the property in old name , then if you will have any proof in the same name , then you will not face any issue in future as well.
1. AFTER Change of Name Proceedings (which is a legal proceedings) and publication of new name in Govt. Gazette , the old name becomes null & void and it is a prosecutable offence of Misrepresentation, Cheating, Swindling, Breach of Trust, etc.... to use old name or any other name.
2. After above legal proceedings, you have to use only your new name for all futuristic purposes, without any exceptions, whatsoever ....
3. BAsed on the Govt. Gazette, execute "Rectification Deed" for your property & other purposes.
Dear Sir/Madam,
You are suggested that this is not going to make a big issue and you may have one affidavit of one and same person which will serve the purpose.
You can have an afidavit to that effect and relax. Otherwise you need to execute a rectification deed for the same before sub registrar
You need to go to the registrar office along with an affidavit with regard to your change of name and the publication of newspaper along with your other credentials with an application for change of name in the records of registry. No need to update your new name on your old sale deed.
1. No there is no such issue in buying property with your old name but you should have mentioned both your name in property papers that is XYZ alias XYZ ABC.
2. Yes you should change the name in all the documents as per gazette but it also not mandatory to change the name in all your IDs.
3. Yes you can change name in IDs in future
If you have officially changed your name then it should be notified to the authorities. It may create trouble for you in the future.
