Foreign-origin spouses of Indian nationals or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder are eligible for obtaining the privileged OCI card which grants multiple entry, multi-purpose, life-long visa for visiting the country,

2) it is necessary that yourmarriage be subsisting for period of2 years for application for OCI card

3) foreigner has to be ordinarily resident of India to be eligible to apply for OCI registration in India.
Note: 'ordinarily resident' will mean a person staying in a particular country or in India for a continuous period of 6 months.

You can apply for tourist visa citing your marriage with an Indian.

If you are a person of Indian origin then apply for OCI or PIO card which dispense with visa altogether.

The foreigner spouses of Indian citizens are issued with X visa which is Entry visa and can only be used to reside in India as it doesn’t provide a work permit.

2) spouse of an Indian citizen. They can directly apply for an Entry visa from their home country or apply while living in India on a visa

You can apply for extension of  your Visa by converting it to the tourist category in view of the pandemic situation and also when most of the Sates have refused to allow international flights.
