Age relaxation is permitted only if seat is not reserved for state candidate employee.

Check the adcersiment only, in that you will find clarification whether age relaxation permitted to state candidate employee only or just govt. Employee and no further bifurfication.

Are you planning to apply for government job in Punjab or JK?

If you are eligible for the relaxation as per rules then what is stopping your from applying for the same.

You can apply for the same through proper channel by getting NOC from your current employer.

1. See notification need to be seen to verify though in my view as per your question you cannot add both the age benifit and take cumulative benifit you may just take benifit upto 5 years using either.

Age relaxation depends upon the j&k government rules. If the government provides for the same you can avail of the same as you are a domicile of the state. Tge age relaxation criteria would be applicable to you.

- As per rule , government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations.

- Hence, you are eligible to get cumulative age relaxation on the ground of domicile of JK and also being an employee of government , but this also depends upon the states rule as well.

1. This will be mentioned in the notification of job you are applying for that you can avail the benefits of cumulative age relaxation or not.

2. You should once again go through notification if there is nothing mentioned regarding cumulative age relaxation then you cannot avail cumulative age relaxation because we can avail age relaxation from one category only.

You cannot claim both benefits.

Either you claim age relaxation or benefit under domicile category.
