In the case of divorce, a non-working wife can decide the amount of maintenance ?  or the court decides how much do the husband need to give ?

1) you need to pay maintenance to your wife for life unless she remarries . if she is working court may not order maintenance .

2) but you have to maintain your child till he is able to stand on his feet .

you have to take out application for execution. that warrant of arrest be issued for recovery of maintenance amount . once arrest warrant is issued he will pay as he wont like to go to jail
