You cannot find this data by your own police may get the data from the  NHAI if required.

If you want the evidence you may request the court to order NHAI to submit the data if car passed the toll during a particular period. But this data will not provide the data of its occupants.

Previously to get data from Toll Plaza you have to approach the concerned agency maintaining the toll. You can request them stating why you need the data and how it will be beneficial.

However, now India government maintains a online portal with Toll Plaza information. http://tis.nhai.gov.in/index?language=en#

You can take a look of the website. You can get a user manual of how to use the website under the USER RESOURCES head.

You can file an application before the court the court can direct police to collect such data from the national and state authority operating tool.

Also you can file a RTI seeking information from the state and national high way authority.

Footage captured by a public entity, such as the police department, is generally a public record and available upon request. Most states only require a public records request to obtain public surveillance footage.

There is no standard length of time that video surveillance recordings must be maintained in the hotel. Usually, hotel video recording tapes will be kept about 30 — 90 days. However, some regulations require that the recordings of the hotel security cameras in the casino need to be stored for 6 months or 1 year.

You cannot get such data on your own.

You can ask the IO investigating your case to procure it.

Alternatively, you can seek court order for the same and the court can summon the concerned officials along with the documents.

As it is a public hotel, you can write an application to the the person in charge of the hotel requesting the CCTV footage. It would be made available to you after payment of requisite charge.

You can request tye same from the said toll naka. But it's difficult as they are not bound by RTI law to give you the same. You need to apply the govt office which has direct control on the said toll naka

Dear Sir,

To get data from Toll Plaza you have to approach the concerned agency maintaining the toll. You can request them stating why you need the data and how it will be beneficial.

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have the right to request CCTV footage that relates to you or your property, as this may reveal personal information about you and will therefore be classed as personal data. This information includes your whereabouts at a particular time and your car's registration number.

1. You can contact toll plazas which comes in the way to Kurnool and ask them to provide details of travel of your car in last one year.

2. For CCTV footage of hotels you can contact hotel manager and ask them to provide copy of CCTV footages and also tell him to preserve the recordings. They will definitely charge you for that but it can be beneficial for you.

You may approach the authorities under whose jurisdiction the toll booths come. File an rti and as the matter concerns you they must have no problem in sharing the information.

Application can be filed in the court to direct the Regional Transport Officer to preserve and retrieve the CCTV records if it exists and produce it in the court. It cannot be handed over to you.
