Hi,it is advisable to register a FIR for offence of snatching..Immediate action by police can recover the money from the accused persons
Only police can help you in recovery of your money
you have rightly filed FIR regarding robbery of Rs 5 lakhs
police would conduct investigations and file charge sheet against accused
1. With the Bank withdrawal details, your auto details, location, time, date, your mobile location, any description of the robbers age, height etc... and any details of their bikes, supported with local witnesses (if available), register an FIR at the local police station.
2. ONLY quick police action, based on your inputs, can help in the case.
See you should immediately rush to nearest jurisdictional police station and file complaint and register FIR describing the incident details of amount and description of the robbers.
This is big story, will certainly publish in newspaper or you provide copy of FIR to news paper. Now rest police will do. Try to get CCTV footage captured in some private cameras where incident happened.
1. This is a crime for which the Police alone has the jurisdiction.
2. After the registration of the FIR if the Police does not take any action you can take file writ petition in the high court against police inaction.
3. So firstly lodge a complaint in writing and then follow up for recovery of your money. This apart there is no other action to be taken just now.
Dear Sir,
You can file a complaint either police station or private complaint at magistrate court.
How to file a complaint in police station
Step 1: Visit the nearest police station and describe all the details to the police whatever you know.
Step 2: You can either verbally tell the police officer about the incident, for instance, what happened? How do you know? Or, write down the details by yourself.
Step 3: If you tell the police verbally, then the duty officer must write it down and then make an entry in the General Diary or Daily Diary.
Step 4: If you submit a written complaint then you must carry two copies. One for the duty officer and the other one will be returned to you.)
Step 5: The police will go through all the details once you submit the information.
Step 6: After that, the information recorded by the police is read over to you.
Step 7: You need to sign the FIR, once the information has been recorded by the police.
Step 8: Sign the report only after verifying that the information recorded by the police is as per the details given by you.
The only option before you is to lodge a criminal complaint against the robbers .
If this amount belongs to your company and your company has insured for the loss of money in transit due to such events, then you may be eligible to insurance compensation amount.
You can file am FIR for the same. Police will investigate the cctv footage and other loopholes in the same
