OBC non creamy layer certificate
My name is Dr Suman Yadav IAM married ND my husband is govt medical officer in Rajasthan I prepared for UPSC, but as I completed my 32 age so I need age relaxation by obc non creamy layer certificate. But I told that after marriage my husband job and salary will taken into account and that why I am not eligible for the OBC non creamy layer certificate. Sir plz guide me that OBC non creamy layer certificate issued as per my husband income or as per my father income. Sir plz guide me that how can I get OBC non creamy layer certificate

OBC Non-Creamy Layer Income Limit
- INCOME OF PERSON AND FAMILY COMBINED: A person can apply for an OBC certificate only if the annual income of the family is less than rupees eight lakhs per annum. If it were more than the given figure, they would not be getting the non-creamy category certificate. (Income from agriculture/farming is not included in this)
- PARENTS EMPLOYED UNDER CENTRAL GOVERNMENT: If a person’s wither of the parents, is a part of central government or is working under Group C and Group D category under the central government, the person is eligible to apply for the non-creamy OBC certificate.
- EMPLOYEE UNDER CENTRAL GOVERNMENT: If a person himself or herself is a part of central government or is working under central government’s group B category, then that very person is eligible to apply for an OBC non creamy layer certificate. It is to be noted that it is valid only if the person’s parents do not receive any income like that of pensions.
- HUSBAND EMPLOYED UNDER CENTRAL GOVERNMENT: If a women’s husband is employed under the Central Government, then that very women would be eligible to apply for the certificate provided that her parents do not receive any kind of income.

The income of husband will be counted in your family income and if it exceeds the limit, you may be out of NCL. For more clarification, you may read the policy which is available online.
Hi , the income of your husband shall be taken into consideration,for determining the criteria of creamy layer instead of your Father
- As per Supreme Court, A person's caste is unalterable and can't change after marriage.
- Further for Non Creamy layer your husbands income will be considered , including you (if working|)
- Hence, if your husbands income is more than 8 lac , then you are not eligble to get OBC non creamy layer certificate .
- Since, your father is OBC, you can get the same certificate and further eligible to get benefit of age relaxtion of 3 years for appearing in the UPSC exam.

Your obc status will always be the same. It will not change on husbands status
If the Husband is working under Central Government, his wife is eligible to apply for OBC certificate provided that the wife's parents do not receive any kind of income..
OBC non creamy layer certificate is based on the candidate's parents ONLY.
Marital status of the candidate is not relevant for OBC non creamy layer certificate.
So income of your parents will be considered for NCL certificate.
