My Grand father was allotted agriculture land in 1961 as he was a freedom fighter and fought in Hyderabad liberation movement against Razakars. Now we have lost the allotment letter from government and our land is showing as Government land in records. so my question is can we get a copy of the same if yes which department in Govt. now Telangana then Andhra Pradesh we need to apply and what is the procedure. My grand mother is still drawing the pension for the freedom fighter quota and we have proofs that my Grand father was a freedom fighter. Thanks

1. A certified copy of the same can be obtained from the office of sub-registrar after conducting a manual search therein.

2. Engage a local lawyer for this purpose.

Hi

You can contact the Collector and make a written representation by enclosing a "Photo Copy" of said allotment, under acknowledgement.

In case if you do not have photo copy of the same, you can make an application under RTI Act.

Enclose your GMs pension details.

Dear Sir,

It is better to contact the Village officer and obtain the Pahanies of the Sadi Survey Number , it will be recorded as Freedom Fighters Assigned land , you may also get some proceedings in the MRO /Thahasil Office , or in RDO Office or in District Collector office , The assignment records will be maintained in a particular section of the said Office/s , there will be a separate file for these assignments in Collector Office , There will a Govt Memo or GO for these assigned lands , contact Advocate for searching all these records and to get copies of the said records , it is better immediatly obtain the pahanies they will give some information to get copies of other connected records .If the land is still recorded in the name of Your GF and he & his family members is/are recorded in possesison , there is no problem in retaining the land You have to furnish the Survey Number and Village name. name of the Mandal/Tq and Dsitrict, to the Advocate for Search of records !

You may approach the land revenue department with an application seeking copy of the allotment letter.

If they don't entertain your application then you can approach court seeking direction to the revenue department to furnish the copy of the said allotment letter and your grandmother 's pension records may be submitted as evidence to prove your case.
