Fee can be increased by the  colleges but in a  reasonable proportion and not arbitrarily.

A writ petition should be filed in this matter.

Dear Client,

There is a Supreme Court ruling that instructs appointing a state-level committee led by a retired High Court judge to fix fee structures. Any deviation from such a ruling should be checked by state authorities.

National Medical Commission is introduced to replace MCI to check such whimsical hike in fees and is on table as pronounce by govt. this week.

Still writ in maintainable against such hike in mid session.

The collage can't increase the fees in midway unless they have made a provision like some fee should be payable before the exam out of total fee. It is not there then you people can challenge the same in the court

Dear Client

There is no such law for regulation fees of college till date. But you can file a case regarding mid session fees hike and there are chances that your case might become a milestone.

There is no law, this may be a decision of the management of the co0llege or the authorities concerned.

The affected persons can make a representation in this regard to the government  department controlling such colleges  but the students' studies and future may be at stake
