How can declare step sister. If person wants to say that lady is my step sister, is it possible? What documents need to proof this relationship. Person's father expired but mother alive. it's matter of an application in petrol pump dealar chayan in which there are land relaxation for son, brother, sister, daughter in law, father in law and step sister also. My wife applied in step sister category with permission of land owners. For this, land owners declared in stamp paper ( actually the real relationship of lands owner and candidate is mama- bhanjee. Now my wife selected in draw of lots for petrol pump chayan. But now the one candidate wants to challenge that this relationship is not a step sister and i applied in wrong category. What is the option for me to declaration that the relationship is step sister and brother. Land owners (mama) is prepared for any statement Thanks

You can execute an affidavit and give news paper publication for the same. That's enough.
See to declare her step sister of her Mama the Affidavit of parents shall be required that is father of Mama that she is her daughter from other wife. In case parents expired then they land owner can make such statement before court. But the issue is how the mother of your wife can be shown as wife of the land owners father as in all your wife record there is name of her parents.
You can seek declaration from the court by filing a suit but the relation has to be established.
If the mother of the girl give an affidavit in this regards then no body can challenge the same, only she should be ready to give her statement as an d when required so please don't go deep otherwise this will go against you.
1) If you want to prove that relationship is of step sister and brother, so kindly get father's all legal documents like PAN, AADHAAR and ration card proof with her mother if these all documents gets matching with brother mother. Than you can prove it this relationship.

You may file the affidavit to this regard and also try to prove the relationship of step sister. The explanation of step sister is obvious i.e. born from same mother or father.

There`s no such declaration need. Father`s first marriage certificate and second marriage certificate will prove that step sister belongs to second mother and is step sister.
If the challenge is before court then you may prove your relationship with the help of the relevant papers related to the step sister's biological mother.
If it is a oral threat then await for the legal action and summons from concerned authorities show causing you to give a reply.
