Work profile not mentioned before SSC MTS recruitment
Sir, I have beeen recruited as an multi tasking staff in CFSPTI, Bangalore by SSC through a direct recruitment of MTS,2016. After selection to the institue, which was randomly based selection, 6 out of 10667 candidates were got a work profile like bull feeding, bull washing, dung cleaning etc. works, which required enough skill and experience. This kind of poat should be notified aa selection post. We requested the authority but they turned cold shoulders. In this matter what are the possible step that we could able to do for our justice. Kindly provide needful advice. Thankyou

The bulls are highly ferocious. 2 newly joined MTS through staff selection commission, 2016 had already got injured by the bull hit. Then also the authority is not taking a single step to change the work profile and moreover asked them to either continue or quit the job. This kind of job must need experience and also before applying to the post it had not been mentioned in the notification. One women candidate had to resign herself after getting known about the work profile. Even though we got good ranks we are compelled to do the work which is to be done by casual labours.kindly provide valuable information regarding this matter.

Sir in such grievience it is better to approach high court under writ jurisdiction seeking direction writ for employer to.change work profile of candidates not experience to do so and same was not mentioned in recruitment notification.
If you are unhappy with work assigned to you then you can seek a transfer
2) if you refuse to do work assigned to you then you may face disciplinary action
3) in alternative you have to resign from service
You cannot refuse to do work assigned to you
even if you go to court you may not get any necessary reliefs
- As per the information mentioned in the present query, makes it clear that the type of job profile at present had never been disclosed in the notification.
- And when there is something which was not there for the applying person then there’s is no question for getting them compelled to work for the same.
- I advice you to please make a representation or the concerned authority disclosing everything including your prayers in it.
- And if hey don’t do much then you will have to approach the Hon’ble High Court under the writ Jurisdiction as per Article 226 of Mandamus or Certiorari seeking change of job profile.

Move a representation with the appointing authority in this matter. In this representation, you should meticulously raise all your grievances and seek their redressal. In case there's no respite by way of changing your work profile, approach the High Court and seek a writ of mandamus.
All you please file a Writ before the Hon'ble High Court on the facts as has been mentioned by you , all candidates can a file a single writ so less expensive and definitely you will get the relief because this fraud nothing else.

You may approach the concerned higher authorities and labor Commissioner to settle the issue. You can also approach High Court or Service Tribunal directly. More suggestions can be given if you share the contents of your appointing letter. It is nothing but cheating the unemployed youth and extracting work under dangerous circumstances.

You can challenge such work profile before the Higher Authorities and if they do not change the same then you can approach High court saying that you have been virtually cheated. Such works normally should entrusted to causal labors having such experience for more than three years etc,. You have good case to fight and win.
If this will affect your opportunity in the employment, you may make a written representation to the concerned authorities and exhaust the remedies available locally.
After this step if you don't find any relief then you may discuss with your advocate and initiate appropriate legal steps that may fetch you the desired relief.
