1) you need socierty permission to give your flat to labourers to stay

2) police verification would also be necessary

Sir you can make an agreement with the contractor for there temporary residence and further get it notarised.

Further take copies of all there identity cards and get it verified with the local police.

not much precaution is needed if they are your trustworthy and reliable workers, then just keep everyone's photograph and their Aadhar card for that period and let them live there.

However yes you can get the same verification done by the Police and Police charges a small amount as their fees and they take the signatures of every person living there.

but here you need to understand that you have to make them live under the fear that they cannot do anything wrong to you and don't create any nuisance.

one more important thing is that you should give a written application to the Society Manager, that they are living by your consent.

however, there is nothing more legal required in your case.

If you are owner of said flat then you have to take permission from Society and make an agreement with contractor for temporary accommodation.

  1. As per the information mentioned in the present query, makes it clear that you are well aware about the legal requirements for letting any property to anyone.
  2. Yes, you should make an agreement disclosing their names, and that you are giving it for only few days.
  3. Then apply for the police verification also as they all have been coming from the far place.

All above suggestions are to help you and avoid any future trouble for you.

You don't need any documents if the property belongs to you but you have to inform the police along with the detail of the persons going to stay so that the police can verify I have a check on the labours prevention of any untoward incident. You need to check with the society if they can allow this kind of labourers to live in the Cooperative Housing Society

You can enter into  rental agreement with them  with the contractor signing as a witness for the rental agreement.

It is always advisable to inform concern police about the new tenants.
