So SBI bank officer denies to open sukanya samrudhdhi yojana a/c in SBI. I have applied for transfer in august month . Post office says as per law it should be done by transferee bank.

The Sukanya Samriddhi account can be transferred to anywhere in India. If you have opened a Sukanya Samriddhi account for your girl child in any of the Indian post offices, you can easily transfer it to other post offices across the country as per your convenience. Likewise, if you have opened the same in a commercial bank listed under the Reserve Bank of India, you can transfer your account from one bank to another as and when you need. Besides, the scheme also allows transfer of accounts form post offices to banks. Mentioned below is the process of transferring a Sukanya Samriddhi account balance from post offices to banks.

Sir file an application before the post office asking the procedure in written and further requesting same to transfer the interest from post office account to bank giving details. Seeking response in written that would clearity the position and in written we will have proof if there is some discripency by any of them.

Hi,

There is no specific format for RTI application and you may find in on Google. Ask the information as the responsibility of transfering the account. The fee of Rs.10 may be paid by IPO.

You have option to write banking ombudsman for the post office as well as SBI

In case you don't get any relief from the banking ombudsman you have option to go to the consumer forum against the post office for shortage of services and make compensation along with the legal charges claim.

Firslty, as per the information stated in the present query, makes it clear that both the departments are trying to make fool of yours without having any fault at your end.

Secondly, you should write a representation to both the departments about your grievances.

Thirdly, then wait for 15 or even less than it, to go before the High Court under the jurisdiction of the Writ of Mandamus under the article 226 of our Constitution to let them give answer before the court.

Fourthly, in be mean while do some research to find out exact rule or policy for doing account related transaction.

contact no of sbi person is [deleted].

how to file RTI ? idon't know.

You dont have to file any application seeking information through RTI act, just send a letter venting out your grievances to the post office and await their reply.

Based on the reply giving reasons for not acting upon your request, you may sue them before consumer forum for deficiency of services as per the prevailing law in this regard.
