Whats this personal hearing for, you can attend it and make your aubmissions otherwise some order will be passed against you in the hearing which might have consequences
Hello,
You may appear in person, and give your reply or the fine, whatever they say,
It is advised that if you are called, you must appear personally.
Regards
1. File your reply stating that you have no objection if the good is confiscated.
2. The customs will confiscate the good and levy a penalty on you which you should be happy to pay.
If you want to appear in person then just appear in person and say that you have no objection to the confiscation of goods.
Importing a sex toy is an offence.
You may have to give a reply notice to the customs department from where you received the show cause notice.
Instead of agitating on the issue, you may claim innocence of law prohibiting the import of such items, and can authorise the authorities to confiscate the indented item and request them to condone the requirement of your personal appearance in view of the explanation given in your reply notice.
thanku sir, what happens if I appear in P.H?
You may face unnecessary harassment and would be in an embarrassing situation besides paying fine
