Dear Sir, I did marriage in 2012 from Arya Samaj in UP and having a 3 years child, before marriage my wife was in her native place in M.P. her family and relatives were prohibiting girls to go out and to get married to me. We both also started to be threatened by the society and relatives . At that time girls made many calls to Police thana, kotwali, S.P., NCW Bhopal, NCW New Delhi office at the last police came to her home and started to made understand not to get married to me and went back. When police did not helped us we sent emails to S.P, DM, NCW M.P., and register complain in NCW New Delhi. After few days when my wife got a chance to go out near a local FAIR she escaped from there and reached to me. We both went and presented to Honorable Allahabad High court and get a writ order by Honorable court then we got married from Arya Samaj in 2012. From my wife’s place family submitted a missing person's report of girl. (some time police said this) And Police started to threat us and trying to bring us M.P. We sent all Documents to all official of MP city SP, DM, Thana including NCW Bhopal and NCW New delhi since then police never called till 2017 After 5 years Police suddenly reached at my native place in U.P. and met to my wife without any information first they talked on phone and said to take statement in front of S.D.M in local city U.P. My wife said ok my husband in delhi tomorrow my husband and I will give my statement in front of S.D.M or any higher official. Suddenly they changed their plan and told to give statement only in my wife’s native place M.P. and gave a hand written notice to present in my wife’s place M.P. if we both don’t be there a strict action will be taken against we both. Even my wife kept on saying that there in threat of our life from societies and some relatives, we are not safe in M.P. Now we are too much mentally disturbed and this situation are affecting my family life and career. we don't want to go to M.P. because of life threat by society people but police are miss using its power to bring us in MP. We request for a suggestion If we did marriage with informing police, higher official, court, society. How we can be safe from wrong police action to bring us to MP for trouble. We are always with law and always ready for that. We are ready to give our statement in UP or any where in New Delhi. Please suggest me for this.
Looks like the criminal case lodged by your wife's parents in furtherance to the missing report lodged by them is still alive.
Approach the High Court and get it quashed. Challenge the notice that has been just handed over to you by the Police and the entire proceedings of the said case.
You need to settle that case, once for all!
Since case has been recorded in MP police are calling your wife to MP to record her statement
2) your wife would not be arrested when she goes to Police station
3) engage a lawyer in MP as precautionary measure

Carry the copy of the order of the Allahabad High Court and no strict action shall be taken against you, do not worry.
Take a local lawyer with yourself as a precautionary measure.

1. First take information from police the details of the case wherein they are seeking statement.
2. If both of you are adult then no one can stop you from getting married.
3. You can complain with higher authorities if the police harasses you.
You can file writ petition in High court for violating your fundamental rights.

I would suggest you to file a complaint in court directly stating this action of Police and saying that if you go there then it could be life threatening to you and your family. Also explain all the above facts in same petition.
Get police security by court orders and give your statement.
And also according to your description you need not to give any statement any where .

You contact an advocate in the local and issue a legal notice to the concerned police to refrain from indulging in threatening activities to put pressure on you and to follow due process of law to deal with the complaint.
You also may approach high court with a petition seeking direction to concerned police to not to harass.
You can write a letter to the district SP of police narrating the entire episode and seek his intervention which would solve the problem
