you need relieving letter from your employer

2) send email to your superiors that although transfer order has been received you have not yet received relieving letter

3) request your superior to furnish relieving letter so that you can join your new place posting

Write a formal letter to AGM asking for clarification.

You may also talk to any of the advocate on the forum by sharing the copy of your transfer order.

1. Aslong as you have not received the relieving letter there is no need to take new chare and join in the new post.

2.However to be on the safer side you may send e-mail and seek clarification on this.

See the services rules to find out the maximum time period within which the Authorities are bound to release you after passing of the order of transfer.

Make a representation to get the needful done.

Approach the High Court by way of filing a writ of mandamus if nothing works.

Hello,

You may send a representation to this effect to your senior that you require the relieving letter since you have been transferred, before sending such representation you may just check in your service rules that how much time the authorities can take to give relieving letter.

If nothing works then you may approach the High Court and seek appropriate writ, also in my advise there is no need of joining the new transfer place until and unless you received the relieving letter.

This is commonly prevalent issue in the banking sector.

The bank manager may not relieve the staff without a reliever.

You may make a representation in writing to the top management about your grievances and the plight seeking intervention and relief.

If there is no response you may plan the next option to initiate appropriate legal action as per law on this.
