• A foreign national is blackmailing me with my intimate picture

I have known this following person for last 2 years... he proposed marriage but for few reason i declined it. He has harrassed me for last 6 months & in june he started mentally harrassing my brother to... off lately he is being posting my personal pictures and stating if i dont agree to get him in india or give him 3 lakhs rupees he will send them to the everyone who knows me. He stays in Norway

1. This is pure crime and you must not sit idle or silent.

2.Immediately lodge complaint with police for criminal intimidation, extortion or blackmail and even stalking.

3. Posting pictures in electronic media without your consent is cyber offence also for which lodge separate complaint in cyber cell in India.

4. The police can remove the picture from the websites and or even Red Corner Notice agaisnt him.

1) file police complaint against your foreign national for extortion under section 384 of IPC

2) you can also file complaint against the offender under section 66 E and section 67A of ITAct

This is a Crime under the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act, 2005 act. Immede report the matter to the Police and ask them to lodge a FIR in this matter and take appropriate action so that he may be brought to book.

Since you know him you should be knowing about his details and relatives in India too, if yes, talk to any of them here and ask them to advise him to refrain from indulging in such illegal acts.

If no fruitful result is arrived, you may initiate legal action by first lodging a criminal complaint with the cyber police on such things and then you may even issue a legal notice to him warning him of legal consequences if he is not stopping such illegal acts.
