Hello,

Have you received the receipt of the said complaint?

You may write a representation to the Higher Officials that the FIR is not being lodged for the criminal act done by my neighbor, so the respective police station may be directed to lodge an FIR.

You please go ahead and get a diary entry done, once the diary entry is done then the police is bound to take care of the same.

He's liable to be booked under 425 IPC. Insist that your FIR is lodged. If not, you could escalate this matter before the higher police authorities.

If the police is not registering your FIR , on your complaint , you can directly file a complaint in the court under section 200 Crpc .. However , first try and lodge the FIR .. You can aaproach the senior police officials and complain about the inaffective course of police

If the police is reluctant to initiate any action on your complaint you may approach the higher police with a similar complaint with a request to direct the local police to initiate proper action agaisnt the culprit who damaged your property.

If you dont get a proper response even after this, you may approach court for relief and remedy.

No i havent recieved the Reciept , I will be going to register the complain to SHO and get a diary entry. Till now the complain was handed over in plain paper to police

You once again visit the police station, enquire about the status of your complaint and also get an acknowledgement for your complaint, if you dont find any relief despite this, then you may follow the further steps as advised earlier.
