• My ex-lover is threatening suicide due to our breakup

I was in relationship with my ex for 5 years. From his side, his mom did not accept for a very long time. I was getting frustrated with it. My dad was becoming very sick too. After a very long struggle, our marriage got fixed. But my dad passed away one month before my marriage. I got really fed up and broke up wit him. My dad's last wish was to see my marriage. His family delayed the marriage even after knowing about my dad's health condition. After my dad's death, I called off the marriage because I could not go forward with it. I was feeling guilty that my love, him and his family delayed my marriage. He got upset and tried a lot to win me back. I started hating him more. Meanwhile a good friend of mine proposed marriage understanding my pain. I wanted to forget all my painful past and move on. But now my ex is threatening that he will commit suicide if I talk or marry to this guy. He has written suicide note all blaming me and friend. I am unable to disclose my relationship to my mother too. I am planning to give a police complaint but I am worried that it will cost his life and career. Already he lost me and I do not want any more people to get hurt in this spoiled marriage. I simply cannot take anymore pain. He is not listening to me and planning to commit suicide on my birthday. He even took counselling, but nothing worked. Any advice on how solve it amicably?

1.Well,the people who commit never gives such threat and the people who give such threat never commit suicide. So I find little chance of his committing suicide.

2.If you're serious of breaking up with him once and for all then severe all communications with him and make sure you may not come across with him even unintentionally.

3.Chance of the phone number as well.

4. All unpleasant decision takes time to settle and the same is likely to happen with you too.

5.For the time being do not lodge complaint with police.

6. I think with passage of time your turmoil would also end.

It will be better to file a criminal complaint against him before police and save your self from future mis happening and read Gita nobody can restrain the nature and the God know every things.

Nobody can get benefit for his or her own wrong after threatening to commit suicide or attempt to commit suicide, if it will be allowed by the courts or laws then every person doing the same.

Forget him, block his Numbers, socially blocked him. And move on in your life with your choice and don't spoil your life

If you have decided to discard him forever, you should take firm steps to bring an end to this menace

You should not be sentimentally attached or affected by his threats or gimmicks.

You should not show mercy to him at the cost of staking your future..

You can lodge a criminal complaint against him for the threats he poses and register your innocence in advance

You can even issue a legal notice to him instructing him to refrain indulging in such illegal activities.

1. Since he is threatening to commit suicide due to you having said no to him, it is imperative that you file a complaint against him to the jurisdictional police station.

2. If he ends his life and leaves behind a suicide note blaming you then FIR may be lodged against you for the offence of abetment to suicide, so an advance complaint now by you may come to your rescue in future.
