My father age 83 yrs old ( Rtd from IRS and awarded past with Presidential award twice for his duty ) , having severe rain water leakage issue at this top flr flat in Co-op Housing society at Andheri , Mumbai . Despite numerous verbal as well as written request/complaint problem did n't resolve and ultimately result in fall of part of Ceiling plaster which may caused life in danger of my nephew who was 4 yrs old that time. After there is no option left we forced to make complaint to Municipal Authority and finally it reached to court where Society and ex-bearer of Society committee got convicted by court for what they have done. Now they forced to carry out repairing work at higher cost. And that caused vindictive and hate words behavior towords to our family particularly with my father as falls under weaker section ( as age health point of view ) . Attached Court verdict. Pl suggest with best way I can take counter step behalf of him to safeguard his respect and dignity.

Hello, fighting for your legal rights do not effect dignity and respect.. The court has granted you relief as it was your legal right and similarly it was a legal liability and duty of the association to maintain the property for the convinience of its residents
They're bound to comply with the orders of the court.
Any grudges they're holding against your father is uncalled for.
Your father can report the matter to the police and move a formal complaint against the concerned officials of the society, asking police to register a FIR against them.
1. For what offences have they been convicted? If it was a proceeding before the civil court then they could not have been convicted. A decree of the civil court is not a conviction.
2. File a police complaint against the society officer bearers who harass your father. If police does not act against them then a complaint case can be filed directly in the court.
If your father is being harassed or being avenged for his complaint against them, and such hardships are intolerable, he may prefer to lodge a criminal complaint agaisnt them for criminal intimidation and threatening acts with the local police for initiating proper legal action on such undesirable and illegal acts.
