• Family divorced two girls within short span of time

There is case in my neighborhood where a family married his son twice and all they divorced within a short span of time. Their SON works in Saudi Arabia and father is an influential figure in the area.
First case they married a girl and since the day one In Laws started mental harassment on the girl. Once she went to her home she didn’t come back. Girl’s parent they tried all means but couldn’t do anything to bring the culprit in front of LAW. Due to his influence he settled the case outside the court.
Second case they married a girl and he took her to Saudi Arabia with him and started torcher her there. Then he sent her back alone with scary cut marks on the fingers. Even this case they couldn’t make upto the police and both cases girls got remarried to another person.
My concern, Is there any law we can bring these type of people in the court of justice or they are allowed to do anything?

1. if you see any commission of offence is made nearby then you can report thes ame to the police. You have power to do so.

2.However if on your complaint the police makes initial inquiry but the victim refuses to corroborate your allegations then the investigation will fall flat.

3.So in other words you better get in touch the victims of these cases and encourage them by siding with them so they seek recourse of law to get justice.

There are various laws to punish the culprits.

The victims have to file cases properly and to follow them up till the last including approaches to the higher authorities or directly through court.

All are equal before law.

If the victims decide to withdraw the cases midway due to fear or threats, nobody can help to solve such arrogance and atrocities.

You as a third person can only advise the steps and guide them if you interested to get them justice, you cannot jump into the scene on their behalf.

No, there is no locus standi in your favor to file the case, as the girl has not ready to file any complaint who was the victim then it can not be said that those people are committed any offence.

It has happened in your neighbourhood. How are you aggrieved by it? You have no locus to initiate any legal proceeding against the boy or his family members. The aggrieved person, if any, are the girls who married this boy. They alone can commence legal proceedings.
