Dear Concerned,

Let her do whatever she wants - DO NOT FALL TO HER ILL WISHES - let her prove to be your fathers second wife. Let her go to the court.

In absence of any information to the first wife about the second wife the second marriage is itself null n void otherwise as well the marriage is not valid.

1) record her calls wherein she is thretening your family in case money is not paid to her

2) then file complaint of extortion under section 383 of IPC against her

Dear Concerned,

Yes if you have the name and address of the woman you can file a precautionary complaint to your concerned police station and mention your grievances and also seek protection in accordance. In any case its seems a possibility that this woman will surely create a scene on 12th day and if she is faces resistance she might file false exploitation complaints against you and family - better safe then sorry .

You can refuse to give her any money and if you feel her to create problems and nuisance you may lodge a criminal complaint with the police.

Let she approach court seeking any relief whatever she may be desiring to have.

As she is threatening to come to our house on my father's 12th day rituals in front of all family. Can we lodge an FIR of harassment in advance?

You and other relatives should be prepared to not to allow her inside the house and be firm on this. Let she take the help of police, you may give a strong reply to police complaint stating that she is a cheat and she wants to grab yor property fraudulently hence she is enacting this drama.
