• Children harrowing my parents through the day

Hi,
There have been a few kids harassing and troubling my parents through the course of the day by knocking on our door and making a noise outside. Can something be done about this?? We've tried talking to the parents but to no avail. Also the children deny any involvement in the same.

Though this is nuisance but arising from childish acts from naughty children no action lies in court of law.

So you better approach the Secretary of the society so this issue may be discussed in the meeting and an amicable resolution can be reached.

This is human problem and has to be resolved through negotiations.

Good luck.

1. Lodge a police complaint alleging that your parents have been continuously getting false door knocking by some identified person/s.

2. Never take the name of any children or talk about children since you do not know who are the perpetrators of the said offence.

3. If police visits your place for even one day, all such pranks will be stopped forthwith.

If the pubic nuisance created by the children is not tolerable then you may lodge a criminal complaint with the local police who will talk to the parents and warn them.

Generally the police would only warn the children which itself would scare the children and they may keep away from such indulgences.

A lot can be done. You may file a police complaint against the kids and their parents initially. Also serve a lawyer's notice to the parents to mend their kids. If all this proves futile then install CCTV cameras to collect evidence and then file a suit for permanent injunction against the parents of kids.
