• MUDA/MCC Khata Transfer Certificate procedure

Hi, I bought MUDA 40*60 site in Oct-2012 and constructed house and residing there since 2014. Now I am planning to sell my house. in 2012, for Khata transfer I paid 13000 Rs. fee and received document (my photograph attached on top right corner). Recently I shown document to one of my friend and he told me that this is not Khata transfer certificate but request for Khata transfer and you have to collect Khata transfer certificate and Khata extract. My site is in Hebbal 2nd Stage. it is MUDA allotted site and I am paying property tax to MCC from beginning.Do I have to obtain Khata from MUDA and MCC both? What is procedure to obtain Khata transfer certificate in Mysore?

You need to obtain khata from MUDA if the property is handed over by MUDA to MCC the khata needs to be obtained from MCC by paying fees payable and by submitting certain documents copy. You can visit Mysore One offices in that regard or feel free to contact me

Khata transfer dose not confer title. Ownership acquired through sale deed. You can easily sell. Dont get confuse with khata. Go ahead with sale

Obtain Khata registration form for applying for Khata. Application is same applying for Registration, Transfer and modification of Khata. It is available either online. you are advised to contact a local lawyer and take legal assistance from him .

The competent authority to issue khata in Mysore shall be MCC if the property is situated within its jurisdiction or limits.

You may appraoch MCC with an application for khata or with the reference of the previous application, let them guide you about the further action to be taken on this.
