Ask your local lawyer of to find out the properties of your name who can search it and apply for the certified copy of all the registered deeds

You can choose to go to the Local Sub-Registrar Office or Land Records Department. All the property transactions are registered at the Sub-Registrar's office where the property is situated. After that, you can apply for certified copies of registered documents (sale deed, release deed, etc.) in your name by submitting your identification details and property details on the same.

You can choose to utilize the State Government Online Portals for Property Records. Most of the Indian states have official web portals for property registration and land records, e.g.: Kaveri Online Registration (Karnataka), IGR Maharashtra (Maharashtra), the Delhi Online Registry (Delhi) and so on. On these portals , you can view your ownership information, transaction history, and then download the certified copies of documents by providing your name, property registration number, survey or plot number and other relevant details. Get Encumbrance Certificate (EC). The EC obtained from the Sub-Registrar office reflects all dealings relating to the property and ensures that it is clear of any encumbrances (loans, mortgages). It can be procured online or offline. Verify Mutation Records and Land Revenue Documents. Mutation records in the local municipal or revenue office verify the change in ownership in government records. Patta or Record of Rights (RoR) documents also validate ownership status.
