You can execute a registered POA deed in favor of person chosen to be your power agent from your own jurisdiction, but you cannot execute the registered release deed from the place where the property is not located.
There is an urgent release deed to be made in the family where there are 6-7 releasors and I am one of the releasor, however i am unable to visit the subregistrar location in Kalyan Dombivili with the remaining releasors. So is there an option which i can exercise from my place in Mumbai (like a consent for the same etc) such that they can go ahead with the remaining releasors and the work is done on time

You can execute a registered POA deed in favor of person chosen to be your power agent from your own jurisdiction, but you cannot execute the registered release deed from the place where the property is not located.
If you are living in Mumbai than you have to visit in the KMDC area sub registrar office. There is no option to perform Release Deed without releasor. If you were living abroad and could not visit India than there was a option to visit Indian Embassy.
You can execute POA in favour of family member to execute release deed on your behalf
register the POA in mumbai
You will have to grant a presentation power of attorney to some person who can complete the registration formalities on your behalf
This poa has to be attested before the sub registrar
A written consent will not work
You can sign on the release deed and the registration formalities will be done by your poa
These things do not happen quickly and you should not be riding a high horse
- If you are unable to visit the sub-registrar office in different city , then you can give POA to any relative for executing the release deed on your behalf.
- The said POA should be registered from the office of the registrar in Mumbai.
All the executants of the deed of relinquishment have to necessarily appear before the registrar at the time of registration of the deed. If some are unable to do so, they may execute a special PoA in favour of any one of them, authorising him/her to sign and register the deed. The special PoA needs to be duly registered first.
