• OBC non-creamy layer

Dear Sir/Mam,
I'm a recent electronics engineering graduate, looking for Government and PSU jobs.
My Dad is working in a private company as a salaried employee. His salary is more than 8.lakhs. And my mother is a house wife.
There is no other source of income other than my dad's salary.
Will I fall under OBC Creamy or Non Creamy layer?

You will be a non creamy lawyer if your parents income is not more than 8 lakhs pa and salary shd agricultural income is not included in the said income for consideration of non creamy layer status.  In above case you are eligible for NCL straits

If your father is a private sector employee  and his annual income exceeds Rs. 8 Lakhs per annum for the last three consecutive years, then you will not be eligible for OBC NCL category reservation.

- As per law , in order to qualify as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate, the applicant’s parents’ annual income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs.

- Since, your fathers income is more than 8 lakhs , then you are not entitled to get the benefit of OBC-NCL.
