You can file a suit against them and seek compensation from them. The same is maintainable
My Company hired me from DENMARK when I was working there and was out of job due to layoffs and looking for a new job and then messed up my life in Europe by making me wait and then revoking the offer. 1. When they made job offer, I said no to all other companies and stopped other interview processes SO I lost all opportunities 2. I got thousands of euros worth of losses and lost opportunities because of them. 3. Then they said if you want the job, join us in India on Indian salary. This was treachery. They trapped me in India, taking advantage of my situation and I had to relocate. 4. They didn't pay any cost of relocation, not even the cost of travel. The total losses incurred because of your actions are more than 5000 Euros 5. They did not pay up the promised joining bonus , not even in two months **** 6. On call they promised me one salary, and when giving the actual offer you changed that already meager salary. I have video call recording of that call. I can share the link to that if you prefer. Above list is too many defaults to make by one company to one employee, plus the case of cheating me, These people cheated me. They were never going to honor the offer made in the first place unless they get that project from Volvo. I even asked each one of them involved direct question whether my employment was linked to you getting Volvo project. To my question I got a lecture on how ethical a company that was and in how good hands I was. I was promised that I will be joining another project in Sweden if Volvo doesn't come through. They presented me personally to Volvo as part of your seed team. End result was nowhere close to promises and lectures. They all were lying to me with a straight and smiling face. Shame on me that even after 22 years of experience and many years with Indian body shops, I couldn't guess that this all could be a lie. Still I joined them in India because their Sweden staff promised to fix things in time and requested me to join in India on a meager Indian salary. But in more than two months absolutely no action happened. Based on their changed tones once again, I understood that I have been deceived again and SO I resigned and gave them 2 days of notice and left. Now they want 2lakh rupees as F&F settlement amount I have taken oath that I will fight till death but I wont pay them for the ultimate harrasment they have caused. This offer revocation was not due to slow down or recession. This was trechery. They were never going to honor the offer made in the first place unless they get that project from Volvo, a fact they skillfully hide from me On the opposite I want them to pay for my harrasment. Because had they told me truthfully that my offer was linked to Volvo project, no pain could have occured to me.
