My wife’s address is incorrect in the marriage certificate. We missed out on seeing this while checking it. Is it possible to update the certificate with correct address

Yeah that can be done. Give an application to this effect and they correct it in the records.

Whether the address is incorrect or correct in the marriage certificate will not make any difference to the valid certificate if all other details mentioned in it are correct and proper.

It is not necessary for the person to remain in the same address and you cannot be permitted to change the address every time when you change your  address.

What is the actual problem that you face due to this incorrect address, you can discuss the same if you are really serious about getting a solution to this issue.

If it's clerical error done and doesn't match with address proof given by you during that time then it's possible.

Dear client,

After the certificate is delivered, the clerical mistakes can be rectified by an application to the office of the marriage registrar. The application must be submitted with the relevant document for correction in the certificate.

It should be possible. You need to request the marriage officer who issued the certificate in writing to modify it suitably, by producing a correct address proof document.
