Sir/Madam, I own some land in Ranipet district, Tamil Nadu and it appears in the online EC website, however when I try to enter the survey no.s to retrieve the Patta/chitta; it shows as unavailable, could this be due to fraud or some technical glitch, I suspect some fraud, kindly advise what I can do? I'm sure this is a glitch as government websites are sometimes busy but even if you think you're been this is fraud you can go to the nearest talukdar administrative office.

It does appear to be technical glitch
you can visit the local office of revenue authorities to make enquiries in this regard
If you are not able to access to the correct details to obtain patta through online mode, you can contact the concerned revenue department for clarification of all your doubt.
For your information, the patta is not a title document, the registered document namely sale deed or registered gift or settlement deed only constitutes title to the owner of the property.
