• How to find out if some relative is already court married?

Hi,

I would like to know how to find out that one of our relative is already court married to someone else.

Can I use the Aadhar Card or Pan Card to find out the same? I want to search online and then apply legal case against it.

Looking forward to receive some help from you.

You would have to take physical search in marriage registrar office as to whether any marriage is registered of your relative or not

searching online may not give you the results

The Aadhar card or the PAN card, even if they were produced as documentary evidences to prove the identity of the parties to the marriage registration, cannot provide the desire information even if you go for a search on that basis.

Instead you can visit the website of the concerned Marriage registrar office and look for the registration of marriage from the list of the marriages registered within the tentative period by which you are looking for the relevant details.

If you are not able to retrieve the details through the website of the Marriage registrar of the concerned jurisdiction, you may take the help of an advocate who can search for the details as per law by filing an application to the registrar in this regard..

You cannot obtain the marital status of the person through their Aadhar card or any other identity cards.

Dear sir/ma'am,

The only way where you check is you can visit the Registrar of Marriages of your district who maintains the record or if you have the registration no. of marriage you can visit the National Portal of India.

Thank you

If you are trying to obtain information without knowing the details of the subject matter, you may have to engage the services of a detective agency available in the local or anywhere in a nearby big city.

You can visit the government websites providing the details or information in this regard.

You can get the information through the websites meant for registration or marriages department.

If that is also not possible  you may have to either engage the services of a private detective agency or and advocate in the local who can help you retrieve the information by using his/her influence in the concerned office, of course on his/her terms of payment

Dear  Sir/Ma'am,

You can try checking it once in the National Portal of India, but the chances of getting the relevant information is low.

Thank You

A lawyer has to go personally in each of these districts and find out about the registration. That is the way.

- If the marriage is registered , then one can know after visiting the office of registrar , but if only notarized the documents at the time of marriage , then to know the status is not possible.

- However, you can engage a person for the same in India.

1. You have to go to the office of jurisdictional marriage registrar to search the records.

2. Adhaar may also be used to trace the records.
