• I love someone else but I am getting forced marriage scenes from family

My family is emotionally blackmailing me. They said they will kill my boyfriend. I am afraid of this. I need someone who can help me in lodging complaint against them that we have threats and help me move out of my house in the presence of police and if my mom and dad die by suicide which they are blackmailing, i should not be responsible for that. They are caste freaks. Please help me with the process which i should ho through. As of now my boyfriend is trying to convince his parents and i am trying to take down marriage proposals, but my mom is so freaking out that she wants me to get married as per her wish with these three months. I dont have any backup plan, all i know is i and my boyfriend are financially independent and 24years old. Afraid of moving out of the house only being afraid of 'honor killing'/ 'parents committing suicide'. I need someone who can lodge a complaint on my behalf with the police station.

1. If seems you are adult and if that is so then you are free to make your own destiny.

2. So go out, move to a new place and marry a man of your choice.

3. Before that do inform the local police and seek intervention of the court.

4. Nowadays courts are very serious of these crimes and hence it would give all assistance.

5. Forget their suicide threats.  A person who commits suicide never gives warning.

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are suggested to send an humble and anonymous application to police authorities including DIG, DGP as well as chief minister office regarding forced marriage and threats of life. Do disclose all the facts, but don't disclose the name of sender. This application can be sent by post, but preserve the application and postal receipt.

Do not yield to their black mailing tactics.

Lodge online complaint  with the police bringing the details of blackmail by your parents etc.

Just lodge complaint on line  by giving details of threats and also seek their intervention.

Third party involvement will be minimal in the above cases, if the aggrieved lodges on line complaint, there will be immediate reaction by police.

Before going ahead with lodging of online complaint, take your boyfriend into confidence and lodge the complaint jointly.

You may lodge your claim and complaint online as you have posted this matter online.

Both of you are major and may file criminal case against your parents obstructing lawful marriage between you and your boyfriend.

If you have been illegally confined in your home by your parents, you somehow manage to send a complaint to the top police officer of the city venting out your grievances and the fears and the threats you apprehend from the hands of your parents including the emotional threats like suicide.

If you happen to get a chance to get out of your house, you may silently slip out of your house and plan with your boy friend a secret marriage with the help of his parents and your friends.

After that you can surrender before local police station seeking protection from your parents.

A habeas corpus petition in the high court must be filed by your boyfriend for illegally detaining you. The court will summon your parents and you and will release you from their custody.

You should also file a petition for your safety.
