Yes you are eligible for compassionate grounds employment if your mother is reported to have died while in service.

Your marriage is not a bar to get this employment

Was you dependent on mother income ? Appointment on compassionate ground is given only for meeting the immediate hardship.

Your age, dependency on mother are must factor to claim compassionate appointment.

- As per law, a married son is eligible to get government job, on compassionate ground , after the demise of his father , if he undertakes to look after the other dependent of the deceased.

- Since, your mother has also expired , then being the only member of family is eligible to get the compassionate appointment, on the condition that no other family members of the deceased are there to claim .

- Further, you should know that the maximum age limit is 35 years in case of a son or daughter for getting the compassionate appointment.

- You should submit the death certificate of your mother before the competent authority with an application for getting the said job on the compassionate ground.

Now since the parents are no more and you are married compassionate appointment can be granted to the son or the daughter. Either one has to give noc.

If you the only one then if you are married then you cannot be appointed in place of your mother. You have a different family.
